Remember Thanksgiving.

I love Fall.  The weather is just right,  the skies are bright blue,  and the leaves are all sorts of different colors! Thanksgiving is coming soon and I'm looking forward to it. I love the fact that its a day set aside to reflect on all the blessing we have in our lives! Sometimes its easy to forget all we have, especially when we get in the mind set that I won't be happy unless I have a new possession. These "things" will make you happy for a moment but they will eventually become old or out of style. We shouldn't look to material things to make us happy because they won't. We should be thankful for the things we already have. One thing we should be very thankful for is God's Word. His word is something we need to walk and live by everyday. Its a map to know what turns to take. The Bible sustains us, guides us, comforts us, strengthens us and so much more.  Joy and peace is there, waiting for us right on our book shelf. One of my favorite

I Can't Believe I'm 18!

I am so thankful for everything the Lord has blessed me with these past 18 years! He has help me in so many ways, whether it was giving me strength to get through challenging situations or giving me wisdom on hard decisions. I have failed Him so many times but He helped me anyway! As I embark on this new year in my life, I hope and pray that I will stay away from this dark world, by staying close to the light from His word! <3 "Teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." -Psalms 90:12 "Commit thy works unto the Lord and thy thoughts shall be established." 16:3 For my Birthday, me and my mom decided to go eat lunch and shop in Columbus, MS. We had a wonderful time and it was such a nice day to be out and about. :) After searching for an Olive Garden and not being able to find it, we decided to stop and eat at Sweet Peppers Deli. It was so awesome and the food was amazing! My mom ordered a turkey sandwich with sun-d

Cloggin' Its Kinda My Thing.

Clogs. A lot of people think of a wooden pair of shoes made to wear in Ireland, but what I think of is a wonderful pair of white shoes with silver taps. Clogging shoes to be exact! I remember taking my first clogging class and being amazed at the skill and talent the "6 o'clockers" had ;) ! I'm still amazed to this day. Goodness I made it sound like it was forever ago. Lol! I started clogging with my sister Chloe about a year ago and I am SO glad I did! It has been such a blessing to meet all my fellow cloggers and to go to so many different shows with them! Not only that but to have a wonderful clogging teacher! Miss Suzanne, as we all call her, has been so kind and patient at teaching us all the different skills to clogging. Recently we had the privilege to audition for a talent search at the BAMA theatre! Although we did not win, I will forever cherish the memories. I felt like I was on America's Got Talent! It was so exciting, I get goose bumps just thinki

Farewell Winter, Hello Spring!

Well, winter I think I can say has finally gone and now Spring is here. :) I am so excited for warm weather, lush green trees and flower draped fields. I have to say 2014 has already surprised me in so many ways. Some good some bad but the Lord hasn't failed to take care of me and my family. Three months into this year and I can't even count all the many blessings! <3  "Count your many blessings name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done."                            Our first snow day! Abel didn't believe me when I woke him up that morning. ;) I absolutely love the view from our front door.                                                 Abel was so excited to find this giant icicle! Making snowballs!                                              Hiking through the woods with my brother, Abel. The next Hunger Games movie!! lol :p  January 4th was Rachel's 23rd birthday! I tried making her a gluten-free

The Many Blessings of 2013.

The past year, just like any other, has had its ups and downs. However, I want to take the time to reflect back on the things I'm most thankful for that happened. :)                               One of the many good memories I have, is my oldest sister's wedding!     I remember being SO excited! Seeing her walk down the isle and her husbands reaction was a                                                                              priceless moment. <3                             Moving to Alabama, due to my dad getting a job, was such a blessing!!                           Adjusting to the country life is still in the working though! Ha-ha but I love it! Saying goodbye to my friends in Florida was VERY hard.......     but I am SO thankful for the new friends the Lord has blessed me with. :) They made the move to Alabama so much easier.                                       Love these girls!
